The George Washington University is committed to maintaining a positive climate for study and work, in which individuals are judged solely on relevant factors, such as skill and performance, and can pursue their activities in an atmosphere free from discrimination, harassment, and violence. The Office of Equal Opportunity supports the university’s commitment by fairly and equitably responding to reports of discrimination, harassment based on protected characteristics, sexual harassment, including sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, and stalking, and related retaliation. The Office of Equal Opportunity also provides prevention and response educational programming for the GW community to educate the community on creating safe, respectful, and inclusive education and workplace environments.

See Services for more information about OEO and GW Policies.
